| Umbrella rigs consist of multiple lead jigs suspended from a stainless steel cross bar. When trolled, these rigs simulate a school of bait fish that striped bass simply cannot resist. This method of fishing was developed by salt water fisherman but has been proven to be a highly successful method of catching fresh water stripers and hybrids in southern reservoirs. | |||||||||||||
| In our pursuit of Striped Bass in Lake Cumberland Kentucky, we have found it necessary to develop our own rigs that would not only attract the big fish, but hold up when these tackle busters hit. Our lead head jigs come in a variety of weights and have a very durable powder coated finish in all of the hot colors. They are dressed with silicone rubber skirts and tipped with twister tails. Spinner blades can be added for additional vibration. The eyes are hand painted and will not fall off like the stick-on variety. Nine of these jigs are suspended from the spreader with solid stainless steel leaders. We feel our rigs are among the best available, and at a reasonable price.
